Poker...!^^!..!^^!@#*
So lately i've been playing a lot of poker, and it's been great. Only thing is, I don't seem to be winning much money. Now don't get my wrong, I can do well in any game where there is no buy-in, but everytime I play, I just seem to lose. Like right now, I was just dealt AK offsuit on a hand and the A and K both came down, and I lost to a Q9 straight. No good, but check this, playing poker online has finally paid off. Some guy hit a A-10 Royal Flush, and I got 50$ for that, how fun. Yet on the next hand, as I write this I get dealt J-2 offsuit and stay in due to being little blind. J2 wins me the hand, how crazy. Anyways, guess I should go study for my Calc. test tomorrow. If anyone ever reads this, thank god Mars Volta put out a new cd, because most of the radio music is starting to = bullshit. Woo...
Wow, First off, I know Don will read this so I'll post this comment first. You suck. Other than that, I'm suprised that I actually was able to access my old email account to find out this password. Woohoo, on the other hand, live journal is one of those things that you want people to read, but really you don't. You just want to write all your troubles, doubts, fears, good times, and etc into these. So think to yourself, do you really want all those people reading this. I sure don't, so don't expect that many posts but now that I have my password I feel like posting. Crazy Ninja Gaiden Killer | | Monday, May 3rd, 2004 | | 11:17 pm |
Crazyness
As weekend events unfolded, one of the first things I noticed is that my driveway was recently "corrupted" by the "Trash Chalkers". So in response to the trash talkers, I am thinking of some crazy scheme just to take out the leader of the trash talkers. Yep, i'm coming for you...just give me my time. Other things on the agenda for the weekend, I rented Equilibrium again, which is still an entertaining movie. To bad for all the people that really did watch it all the way through, I totally passed out on the couch. The BBQ at Trish and Don's was splendid. Crazy and Insane as usual. Lots of good food and good times. Also, in the same apartment complex I watched Wasef almost take out this 225 lb. guy. I bet he would have done it without a problem, that kid is crazy. So I returned this dumb video game to the store to get the game Manhunt. Cool game, insane death sequences, but boring as shit. I don't know how people really get into games like this, /shrug. So I'm taking it back tomorrow and probably gonna waste that money on something dumb also. Off to bed, 2 finals tomorrow. Shaun | | Saturday, May 1st, 2004 | | 3:56 am |
Great nights!!
So, an evening full of grandness, yet mildly charming. Started off with a little rock by watching Batter the Drag, Yancey, and My Doll rock the house at the modified. Only really wierd thing was the bassist from My Doll needed to change her equalizer settings. So anyways, that was Yancey's last show, and they rocked. Huge fan turnout, many bands...per say Stereotyperider and Posture. They gave away free t-shirts, I got one...it's XL. So finish the show, and while leaving I watch Jason Kay get pulled over by a cop within 2 miles after leaving the Modified. I figure he's going to jail since he's been drinking all night. To make a long story short, he doesn't, he just gets off with a warning about not having his registration card. Passes the D.U.I. test with flying colors, not to mention only blew a .04. We go pick him up and head to Laura, Gabe's Laura, and some guy is harassing her at her own house. Wasef takes it upon himself to get in this guy's face, and as the rest of us are jumping over the wall to get to this guy, Cops walk up. This guy is so belligerent he can't even remember where he is living, doesn't have his wallet, but still skates off with a Trespassing warning. Get done with that, Dave drops me off at the house. I hang out with Sarah and figure she's really wasted. She couldn't really stand well. It's cool though, she's pretty cool. | | Friday, April 30th, 2004 | | 4:39 pm |
Thought
So, today I woke up semi hungover after drinking with Travis. We both got to wasted and neither of us puked after drinking a little more than 3/4's of a bottle of Southern Comfort, so we left it a draw. I still woke up hungover as shit listening to his alarm that he set purposely to wake me up, since he went to work out at fucking 7:30 this morning. So that was that. Ok, dilemna, not mentioning names, not mentioning people, and it really doesn't relate to me either, but now that I think about it I don't know what i'd do. So check it. A female ends up dating this guy, and she's hella falling for this guy. Treats her well, makes her feel good, takes her out, all the mushy stuff, but, her roommate hates her boyfriend. She really enjoys hanging out with both of them, but she doesn't know if she can even put them together. So to the point of the matter. My advice to her was fuck your roommate, if your dating someone, go with that. I don't care how long they've been your friend, if they just don't like someone, and they've been your close friend for a while, they should at least get over it. Couple days later I'm talking to this girl in my class again and she said she used my advice, and her roommate is freaking out. Anyone actually have some decent advice so I can tell this girl. If not, I'm still sticking with the advice presented above. Batter the Drag show tonight, starts at 8. I'll be there, so should you. Shaun | | Thursday, April 29th, 2004 | | 4:49 pm |
4:49
So, in actuality tonight I will be attempting to drink my roommate into the ground. This is a test, not of muscles, not of mind, but of stomach. For all of you that don't know tonight at 9 I will be drinking Southern Comfort like a mother fucker in attempt to bring the worst out in my roommate. For every shot I take, he shotguns a beer. To become the winner, you can't be the first one to puke. Interesting night ahead of me, so I plan on preparing now. Shaun | | Tuesday, April 20th, 2004 | | 8:24 am |
Another Day
Ah...thank god it's 4/20 today. To bad I have class all day, basically until 9:30 at night. I thought it would be a brilliant idea this semester to have mostly Tues. and Thurs. classes. Well lets see, of all the shows weve played most of them have been on a Tues. night, meaning I miss at least one of my classes. Usually Don calls me around 12:00 to come get him, meaning everyday I play a show, I miss at least 2 classes. That makes me feel so cheery inside. So Don was being a real dick last night at his house, all whining about his internet and how he can't fix it. Blah, blah...get over yourself. Less computer time, more friend time. San Diego was the bomb. I was down there for what, 4 days, which was awesome. One day it rained, that was awesome. The best day though was the day I woke up and went to some surf pizza shop. Not only did they have really good pizza, but they served CHRONIC beer. They called it the chronic, so I was hella excited. To bad it tasted like shit, but whatever. Hung out in San Diego, then proceeded to come back to Yuma to pick up my fixed truck. So get to Yuma, check out the truck. Everything seems like it's fine...well it's not. About 10 miles down the road my hood almost comes off it's latch, so that makes me feel fine and dandy. Proceedingly followed by losing both 2nd and 3rd gear letting me drive the truck back home in 1st and 4th. So now that I feel so wonderful about the truck, my dad yells at me and tells me that I just "Don't know how to drive clutch and maybe I need a lesson." Seriously, I thought I was going to punch him in the face at that moment. Whatever, roommates are leaving for school, and since I'm carless i'm bumming a ride. Woo Yeah
Lots of wierd ass things have been happening to me lately. First lets start off by saying that the other night I went out and saw "Dawn of the Dead". Good movie, not that scary, but walk around at 2am at night by yourself and you'll kind of trip yourself out =P. Maybe I'm just a wuss but whatever, I was still skeered. So went down to Yuma, and right outside of Yuma my truck decided that that Clutch was going to grind itself loose. Woo, so as I look in my rear view mirror and see pieces of metal jumping up off the pavement, I ponder, do I just call it quits on the truck. Apparently not according to my parents, who are going to give me a bill in like 2 weeks for it and drive it back up here to me. Sometimes I don't understand the reasoning behind it, except for it's more of the band truck than anything. That piece of shit needs traded in for anything if you ask me. I wonder if they accept trade-in's on motorcycles. Whatever. The girlfriend was with me on the way to Yuma, and she always freaks out over little things like that. I actually started laughing when my truck broke down, but she was like blah, blah, blah. She took it well though, so that was cool. Lets see, hung out with the little brother all day Sat. That was awesome, since I see my brother like every 3 months, always cool to spend time with him. Don yelled at me today about calling him my little brother, since he outweighs me by about 50 lbs. and is about 5 inches taller than me. Whatever, I figure I can call him little till he can beat the shit out of me, then I'll stop. Anyways, that's life in a jumble. More physics is calling. Wanting more...
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!! Pretty wasted off my ass here. Started drinking at 1, drank till 6, passed out till now, woke up and now have the spins, /cheer drunkenness. Anyways, heading down to Yuma tomorrow for the next 2 days. Fun times, just going down to hang out with the parents. That should be fun, well maybe, I didn't really think about it before I planned it but whatever. Vegas is in the making, and were talking about it again. Not sure what's really gonna happen, but well see. So overall, damn good St. Patty's Day, but left me wanting more. Right now I have 6 messages on my phone, and have failed to answer or respond to any of them. Wonder why? Maybe it's my way of being a rebel and saying leave me alone, or maybe you all know where I live and if you really wanted something you'd come and get it. Who knows? Who cares? Anyways, the good old bed is calling...off to dream about wierd things. Sick
First event: Thursday show at the Clubhouse. Good times, we were all pretty pissed off when we went on having to listen to Creed (aka the morman band that played before us) for like 13-14 songs. I think that they gave me a demo somewhere, /shrug, unless I like the sound of your music, why should I listen to it. So we got up there pretty pissed off, played hard, apparently did ok. Had a fucking huge ass turnout, and for everyone that came. Come to my house over spring break sometime and I promise to give you beers =). So overall that worked out well. Second event: Parents came down the other day to pick up my little brother. Apparently, U of A, ASU, and NAU all got the same spring break off for once. I feel bad for the people going to Mexico, just think of the drive to try and get home. The 4 hour wait to cross the border. Just remember, any pharmacy you pass on the way out will sell you Soma's. Drug your friends so they pass out and drive home in peace. So I think that's all the major events that have happened so far. Don and Wasef drove to San Diego so Don could see some chick that he's head over heels for. That's awesome, but long distance relationships always tend to suck, coming from experience here. Anyways, off to run some errands. Shaun | | Wednesday, March 10th, 2004 | | 8:19 pm |
Crazy?
Ok, wanna hear something funny. I just finished writing this great post then closed the page without posting it. Hell yeah for being dumb as shit. So i'm going to rewrite it in fewer words since I basically already forgot what I was saying. So check out this wonderful chess game I was having with my girlfriend last night. To inform anyone ahead of time, don't play Brandy in chess. She will kick your ass, I know. So anyways, she was beating me and I was down to my king. She still had a rook, bishop, and her king, and I was complaining about her taking forever to finish me off. Whatever, guess that I pissed her off enough to pick up her pieces, yell at me, then storm off. Fun times, but I did learn one lesson. Don't speak at all during chess games, or pieces get thrown at you =P. Oh and my Physics teacher is dumb also, there's a story that goes with this but whatever, maybe some other day. Tired
8:10 in the morning and what am I thinking about, the fucking show that we have on Thursday. It's great that we have a show, but I'm really worried about fucking this show up. Dave's decided to take practice at a leisurely rate lately, and it was just Chris and I on Sunday, fun times. Whatever. I decided for Spring Break that I'm not going to Mexico, but I am taking the girlfriend to see my parents. Good idea or bad...who knows? Lets see, Posture was awesome the other day. I recently cut off all my hair. I haven't talked with Wasef in what seems an eternity so were hitting up King Tut's today for a few hours. Gina just gave me $50, woohoo, and umm...I think I got a job at Kinder's. Woo, you know what that means, not gonna be smoke free anymore. Alright, late for class and still gotta do some homework. Insanity
So as my first post, I guess I should say that I credit Dave and his insane live journals for getting me to start this. I also drank way to much last night, and I also should have went to see the posture show but didn't. Whatever, I've seen Posture way more times than Dave anyways so he can suck it. Ended up drinking relentlessly until I passed out for 3 hours then went to class. Now I'm hungover and tired. What a wonderful day =). |
